Bollards in the road to stop rat running but enable cycling and walking. This picture shows the both the Derwentwater Avenue modal filter and Canterbury Drive in the background.

Two out of three lanes removed from the side road as part of 20mph programme. This has created a much safer junction for pedestrians and cyclists at a well known pinch point. Wands could then be carried further over the junction.

St John's Place modal filter from 1985. Station Parade was a rat run before these bollards went in.
